Q: Is breakfast included in the price?
A: Breakfast is included in the quoted price, you can enjoy a full Scottish breakfast or a continental breakfast.
Q: Where can we get an evening meal?
A: There are a variety of places to eat within a 2-mile radius, from Indian restaurants to good Scottish fare. Details can be given on arrival.
Q: How far are we away from the airport?
A: Glasgow Prestwick International airport is approx 2.4 miles on a direct route from Stronvar.Glasgow airport is approximately 35 miles from Stronvar.
Q: What time is breakfast served?
A: breakfast is served from 07.45 hrs to 09.30hrs. If an earlier breakfast is required e.g. work, early flight etc this can be arranged if requested the evening before.
Q: Do you cater for special diets?
A: We can cater for special diets if requested on booking or if requested the evening before. We can cater for diets such as diabetic, vegetarian, etc
Q: Can you cater for someone in a wheelchair?
A: Yes, we have a ramp and railings leading to the front door of the house. The front door is wide enough to accommodate a wheelchair, assisted or non-assisted. Room 1 is suitable for the disabled with a sink, mirror, wardrobe and shelves all at appropriate level for disabled. The shower is level with the floor, no need to step up into the shower. The toilet and sink have grab rails around them for support.
The TV is wall mounted with the remote control handy by the bedside. All the doors are wide enough for wheelchair access. The tables in the dining room are high enough to accommodate most heights of wheelchairs. There is a lift from ground floor to the first floor which accommodates a wheelchair and an assistant, should you wish to visit a friend in an upstairs room.
Q: What time can we check in?
A: You can check in at anytime but your room may not be ready until 14.00hrs but you are welcome to check in, leave your luggage and either go out or sit in the lounge with a tea or a coffee until your room is ready.

A: Your check out time is:
Monday to Friday - 10.30hrs
Saturday and Sunday- 11.00hrs.
Q: Where do I fill up my kettle?
A: The water from the cold water tap in the toilet is straight from the mains therefore it is suitable for drinking.

A: At the reception area there is a 5 day forecast for the local area.
