Ayrshire is the home of a wide range of attractions, activities and events. It is the home of over 30 golf courses including the famous Turnberry, Royal Troon and Old Prestwick.

Ayr is also the home of Scottish Bowling Association clubs. Ayr stages the Scottish National Championship Bowling event. Stronvar is a minute walk to the Northfield Bowling Complex.

For those who like horse racing, the Ayr has Scotland Premiere Racecourse hosting both Flat and National Hunt fixtures. Ayr racecourse hosts the Coral Scottish Grand National in April and the Ayr Gold cup in September throughout its 12 month racing programme.

Rozelle and Belleisle Park are a 15-minute drive away where you can enjoy the gardens.

Ayr is in the heart of Burns country where you can see where our national bard was born and lived. You can look around the areas that gave him the inspiration for the poems and songs he wrote. The Burns Heritage Park is 15-minute drive from stronvar where you can enjoy the Burns experience.
